There are just a few places that offer a little something for everyone and Bellacino's is one of those. With locations in Columbia and Jefferson City finding a fan of Bellacino's won't be hard.
Walking into Bellacino's you'll be hit with a great aroma. The smell of fresh baked bread intertwined with warm pizza and a hint of cinnamon. If you were lacking an appetite on you're way here, one whiff will make your stomach growl.
Bellacino's is set up like most pizzerias, red and green splashed on the walls with low tables in the middle and tall tables surrounding the walls. The Columbia location is still quite new and clean. Stained glass lights hang over the tables as people chow down on lunch.
The menu covers an array of Pizza and Grinder choices that make for a number of combinations. Bellacino's has been using the same scrumptious "Grampa Sam" bread recipe since 1959 and it's made from scratch everyday. You can help yourself to the Taco pizza, Veggie pizza or even the Chicken Alfredo pizza. Of course you can always mix and match your own toppings with steak, ham, banana peppers, and even pineapple.
Bellacino's grinders are always oven baked and crispy. Pick from a big list of Grinders like the Italian, the Bayou, Triple Decker, Taco, Tuna, the Stromboli and many more. You can get your grinder half or whole and always made with fresh ingredients.
I helped myself to the Bellacino Club grinder and it was topped high and impressive. Turkey, ham, crispy bacon, cheese, lettuce tomato and mayo all on oven baked bread. The half grinder is about 9 inches while the whole is around 18. I had the half and was with out a doubt full thanks to the generous portions Bellacino's dishes out. Their pizza was also crispy and topped just right with pepperoni, sauce, and an abundant amount of gooey cheese. I would also trying Bellacino's new Sicilian Square Pizza with a garlic basted thick crust. Top it all of with sweet cinnamon sticks and your lunch or dinner will be complete.
Bellacino's is a must have for a quick lunch or dinner with the family. They offer daily specials that can't be beat and a menu that can be new every time you visit.
