What do you think of when you think of the "Isle of Capri"? "Sounds like fun" come to mind?
Well, there's more than one reason to extend your stay at this Boonville attraction. Farraddays' Bistro provides an outstanding restaurant experience in a pleasurable atmosphere. It truly is a great place to dine either with a companion or with a group of friends. Their professional wait staff provided great service to myself and my guest, without disturbing our meal or conversation.
Their extensive wine list offered intriguing options for every meal and we embarked our evening with a lovely Pinot Noir.
Our meal began with their signature French Onion soup. It would not be overstating to say it was the tastiest I've found in some time. The cheesy, creamy creation provided a delightfully unique start to our evening.
My companion began with Farraddays' "The Original" chop chop salad which was described as fresh and delicious. As the soup and salad quickly disappeared, the eager anticipation for our main course amplified.
After the first bite of my salmon, I knew it was the perfect selection. Grilled to perfection, it was fresh and mouthwatering. The surf garnering the seal of approval, all that was left to sample was the turf. My companion ordered the Farraddays' New York Strip which quickly disappeared. Medium rare as requested, it was seared to perfection and complimented with a baked potato.
Both surf and turf devoured, our evening at Farraddays' drew to a close. A delightful table setting, prompt service, and a cozy atmosphere heightened our experience. With plans to venture into the casino to continue our night, we discussed the convenience of being able to get a reservation for such a memorable dinner, in the heart of the excitement that is the Isle of Capri.
