I have been going to this restaurant since they opened. Their quality (and quantity) of food has gone down. The last time I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, I got 10 to 15 fries. Their ribeye steak looks like chopped beef its so thin. The prices are a little ridiculous for the amount of food you get.

We had ridden our motorcycles along country roads from Lexington, Missouri to visit Pinncales park. Across the highway we spied Heuer's. Stopping in at Heuer's Country Store Cafe we were warmly greeted. Our waitress was prompt and pleasant and earned her $5.00 tip. Although the menu had many items from which to choose, we ordered burgers and they were just fine. I see that I am to rate the decor. Taking into account that this is a country cafe serving simple wholesome foods in a historic building, it gets a 5. The ambiance of this historic building suits it's current use like a glove.

Just wanted everyone to know that Heuer's Country Store Cafe IS NOT OFF ROUTE B!! It is approx. 13 miles North of Columbia on Hiway 63. Take the Harrisburg 124 turn-off and bare to the right on Old Hwy 63. It is a short drive from Columbia and surrounding towns. Try it and enjoy it.

Yumo! Heard about Heuer's on the radio and thought I would give it a try, boy I am glad I did! I was greeted as I walked through the door with a happy smile and seated promptly. My waitress(Leatta) was very friendly and made small talk with me as I waited on my order. My drink was always full and so was I by the time I left. Well worth the drive, I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys service with a smile and a country atmosphere.

Ordered a cheeseburger and fries to go last night. What a delight when I got home! The cheeseburger was absolutely wonderful! I also thought my waitress was very nice. It's a quaint little restaurant right off the highway. Will be stopping there again on my way home!

We live 2 miles from Heuer's, so it is convenient and we eat there often. What's good? The hamburgers and sweet tea -- my parents insist on going and getting hamburgers at Heuer's whenever they visit! What's horrible? The Pizza. We've ordered it twice and couldn't eat it either time. Everything else is shades of "ok". The decor is maybe a little scary (flies on the ceiling, dead deer heads, etc.), but the service is usually very good. It is a country restaurant.

Country Cafe says it all. Mysti, Pam, Brenda, Amber, Brooke, and all the rest do such a wonderful job of making you feel at home. Yes, it is not going to win any awards for plush carpet or soft lighting, but the food is as honest as the people who work there and priced fair to boot! Absolutely the best ice tea, plain and sweet this side of Mississippi. Service is great, food is great, and you can act like you're at home.

Great little out of the way place "where the locals eat". Tired of the regular food chains, this is a great place for homestyle, hearty food. Great shrimp and sweet potato fries, the wonderful homemade coconut cream pie, washed down with a big glass of fresh brewed sweet tea. I won't waste my money at any of the traditional food chain places again! I strongly recommend trying this little place out. We love it!

I can recommend Heuer's any night of the week! We almost every Friday have prime rib. There is no better prime rib anywhere! It doesn't stop on Friday. Every night there is a special all are great! I have even called to let them know we had a large group coming & they accomodate us every time! The service is second to none! You come in & someone is at the table asking what they can do!

I really like going to Heuer's. Both locations have great food. I'm a big fan of their breakfast especially. I thought it was going to be quite a drive, but it really doesn't take more than a few minutes and it's totally worth it.

I have been to Heuers too many times to count since they have been open. I have tried just about everything on the menu breakfast,lunch and dinner. This place has country style atmosphere as well as their menu. If your looking for fancy and food you can't pronounce don't come. But if your looking for a relaxing time,good food at a good price,then Heuers is the place.

Had driven by numerous times and saw lots of cars on the lot, so thought I would try it out. Good down home cooking, friendly staff and great prices. Food was very good with great size portions. The fried chicken and coconut cream pie was awesome. I have found a new place to frequent for homestyle food. Would definately recommend it to others.

Went to Heuer's for the valentine day special. It was fairly busy, but the staff did an excellent job getting our orders, food was great and even though the place was small, it was very friendly. People seemed very at home, and prices were good. We will definately be back! The catafish was yummy.

Heuer's cafe is a homestyle, cozy cafe with friendly staff and great food. We love the catfish,prime rib and especially the homemade cream pies! It is definately worth the drive for the atmosphere and the flavor. We really enjoy sitting out on the patio during nice weather and having a cold beer. If you haven't ever been to Heuer's, you should give it a try!

I'd really prefer to give this great little cafe a bunch of zero's so folks think twice about going. We're neighbors and have eaten there dozens of times. We've NEVER had anything but great food served quickly. The serving staff is great and the cooks know what the hell they're doing. Now, if we can just get them to change the weekend buffet around just a bit......

Every time that I dine at Heuer's Cafe on Saturday mornings, I have a wonderful experience. The waitstaff is excellent, friendly and make you feel like you are back home with a good ole "hun, babe or sweetheart" thrown in. I always feel welcome and would recommend the cafe to anyone. If you have a chance during the winter months, try the carrot cake if it is home made. It is awesome! Stop by if you are passing along 63 highway and it is worth the drive even if you are not traveling.
